Career Testing
Anne L. Hensley, Associate Director of Career Services, offers two career assessments. The tests offered are: Strong Interest Survey (Interests) and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (Personality Preferences).
These two inventories are offered free of charge to Saint Louis University law students and alumni. They are not "tests" per se, but inventories that offer the person taking them a chance to learn more about their personal interests, personality preferences and favored environments. Like all other communication with the Career Services Office, the outcomes are strictly confidential.
These inventories can be helpful as you decide which areas of law to pursue. The Strong Interest Survey takes about 10-20 minutes to complete, and the MBTI takes about 40-60 minutes. A one-hour appointment is needed for interpretation. Contact the Office to determine a time to take these inventories. They must be conducted on site. The Office will contact you when the results are available to schedule a time to discuss them.
