Out-Of-Town Interview When you secure an interview at a firm out of town - either through the on-campus interview process or through writing to an employer - make sure to clarify information about who will be covering the costs of the interview. Think about the following things:
If you are able to secure an interview out of town, now is a good time to contact all of the other employers in that area that you are interested in to determine if you can secure additional interviews. Employers are always interested in a candidate sought after by a competitor. Once again, make sure that you follow guidelines regarding shared expenses if you secure interviews with additional firms. Although it is not recommended that you take notes, you will want to have pen and paper to write down names or questions that you have following the interview, or things that come to mind during a break.
