The exemplary legal education provided by the Center for International and Comparative Law is enhanced continually by visiting professors, scholars and researchers. The legal professionals who visit the School of Law throughout each year offer a broad range of cultural and academic perspectives to expand our students’ international and comparative law education. In turn, these distinguished academics, lawyers, judges, government officials and graduate law students receive the institutional support they need for research and professional development. The School of Law offers four ways for prominent international academics to spend up to one year in the Center for International and Comparative Law teaching, researching or both. Renowned academics from outside the United States can participate in the Center’s programs and enrich their scholarly work as International Visiting Scholars or International Visiting Researchers. In addition to these programs, the School of Law hosts visiting foreign professors from all over the world each year. Through any or all of these visiting opportunities, scholars receive a new venue for their academic pursuits and students receive valuable educational enrichment.
