Academic Resources In law school, help comes in all forms — from textbooks, from lectures and from professors. What students might not know is that help also comes in the form of guidance from those in the Law Library as well as those in the Office of Academic Advising. Three full-time faculty members staff the Office of Academic Advising and assist students with everything from feedback on outlines to help on a seminar paper to assistance with Bar preparation. Joyce Savio Herleth, director of Academic Advising, Kim Morse, assistant director for Writing Support and Twinette Johnson, associate director for Bar Preparation, are available by appointment and can lend that extra degree of support that can sometimes make all the difference. The Office also provides copies of past exams that allow students to better understand the exam process and sponsors several lectures and workshops throughout the school year. In the Omer Poos Law Library, students are offered assistance with a variety of legal issues and research needs. The Library has a diverse and experienced staff who are committed to supporting the School's educational mission by providing the highest level of service to faculty and students, and by helping teach students to become self-sufficient legal researchers.
