Frederic Bloom Voted Teacher of the Year
The student balloting for teacher of the year was accomplished electronically this year, with a record turnout. For the second year in a row, Fred Bloom is Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Professor Bloom for another honor!
Faculty Writing Award Ceremony
The Thompson Coburn Faculty Writing Award Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 8. The award will be given to Professor Frederic Bloom.

Changes to Building Access during Final Exam Period
As the School of Law begins the exam period, some changes have been
made to ensure your safety within the building. The open building hours are
6 a.m to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
A public safety officer will be at the Atrium entrance starting at 6 p.m. when the building has been locked. Only Saint Louis University students, faculty and staff will be allowed entrance with their University ID during the following times:
Monday - Friday: 6 p.m. - Midnight
Saturday - Sunday: 8 a.m. - Midnight
(through May 14)
Remember to have your SLU ID with you at all times. Please note: No visitors will be allowed.
School of Law Hooding Ceremony
The hooding ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 15 at 6 p.m. at the Chaifetz Arena. For more details about the hooding and commencement ceremonies, click here.
Jessup International Law Moot Court Team for 2008-2009
Congratulations to the following students for earning spots on the 2008-2009 Jessup International Law Moot Court Team:

These students will represent SLU in the regional Jessup Moot Court Competition next Spring.


Weekly Mass
A weekly mass takes place on Tuesdays. All are welcome to attend this half-hour prayer opportunity. In addition, Campus Ministry sponsors a variety of communal prayer experiences throughout the academic year, including periodic interfaith prayer services.

Prayer Room
Don’t forget about the Prayer Room next to the Campus Ministry office. It is open and available as a quiet place of reflection (and refuge!) whenever the School of Law building is open.
