Getting Started at SLU

If you are a new student, SLU recommends that you follow these instructions in order to setup your personal laptop to use our network services.

1. Bringing/Purchasing a quality laptop

2. Get the latest security updates for your computer
   
   • PC: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
     
   • Mac: “Software Update” from the Apple menu.
     
     
3. Download SLU’s site-licensed copy of Symantec Antivirus (It’s free, and it never expires)

4. Connect your computer to the SLUNet Wireless network

5. Install the Law School’s wireless printers on your computer
